CORE BELIEFS

Founded on God’s Word, these statements are anchored by our faith in Him.

God is our Father and He wants a family.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God, born of a virgin birth who died for us and was resurrected that we may be reunited with the Father for eternity.

John 3:16 (NIV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Humility is the haven that creates a greenhouse for growth.

We believe that Jesus demonstrated authentic servanthood by laying down His life for both friend and enemy.

John 15:13 (NIV)
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.

Communication with Our Father and participation with His story is our highest calling.

We believe an honest relationship with the only true God and one another is His greatest gift and our first priority.

John 5:19 (CEV)
So Jesus explained, "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what He sees The Father doing. Whatever The Father does, the Son also does.

His faithfulness is our confidence and His mercy our defense.

We believe the Bible is alive, pure, powerful & depicting Christ Himself.

John 1:1 (NIV)
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.

His compassion encourages and rewards our risk.

We believe the love of God is unconditional, and sets the precedent of all commandments in His word.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong...

His victory is the source of our Joy. The cost of the cross reminds us of the value he sees in us.

We believe God’s resurrection power dwells mightily in His followers.

Hebrews 12:2 (NLT)
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because, of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.

The promise of His presence is the Foundation of our Hope.

We believe the direction of His Holy Spirit is an adventure we were born to live.

Acts 1:8 (NLT)
But you will receive power when The Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

The way He pursues us compels us to live with a higher standard and his Word sustains us in our weakness.

We believe in passionate pursuit of a life fully surrendered as Christ’s example to us.

Galatians 2:20 (NLT)
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

We live by the power of the Holy Spirit, we are compelled by the love of Jesus, for the glory of our Father.

We believe in the one true God revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:4-6 (NLT)
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all.

We will settle for nothing less than full surrender to His heart in our lives; until He makes His House our Home.

We believe in the literal second coming of the Lord and His literal rule upon the earth.

Revelations 11:15 (NLT)
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: "The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."
